“In Forest” - Swimmingpool The Band
Just incase you missed it the other day, here is my latest song. Posted for free, and just for you, I truly hope you enjoy it. Thanks, as always, to those who already liked or rebloged it.
“In Forest” is the third song I’ve posted from my latest finished album ‘House Of Beauty’. It’s aesthetically quite different from my previous postings.
It features a (what I hope to be) lush and atomospheric tracking based on an improvised session with me on guitar, keyboards and (after the initial tracking was recorded) vocals, and my band-mate (who I know wishes her busy post-grad schedule would allow her more time to record) Diana (her tumblr is here: http://grigio.tumblr.com/) on backing vocals, cello and violin.
There’s little else to prod about and I am very proud of it. I hope you enjoy it as well. The download link is at the top of the post. The lyrics are below:
