Welp my initial plans for going out tonight have fallen by the wayside.
Tonight’s entertainment has been reduced to some tumbling, watching some Steven Segal and hanging with the omnipresent fat-ass known as my cat Barry.
At least I wont miss Raw tonight.
The tie’s coming off and the weekend’s finally here.
I’ve got my bro Barry here, cleaning himself like mad and I’m ready for an evening of pure decompression and a few drinks.
Had a wonderful week full of various masonic functions. Last night (as pictured above), I met with my council of Royal And Select Master Masons in Oriental Hall.
It was my first meeting as Deputy Illustrious Master for the year (which is essentially the second highest ranking officer in that masonic body).
Hanging out with my super fat cat and I’m happy to report that I’m still loosing weight. Since last summer I’ve steadily lost around thirty pounds (I know I don’t look it but I went from around 280 to about 255. And I am very tall, in case you’re wondering. I’m around 6’4).
It’s definitely good news since I absolutely hate weighing myself.
Just another boring sunday night. Hanging with the cat (barry), probably going to have a drink while nostalgically yearning to go back to the haunted mansion again at some point in my lifetime.
Ho hum.
The Stache stays. Response to it has been very positive. And now with the work week done, I can finally relax and maybe get some tumbling done.
So I did something that I didn’t think I’d do. I shaved my beard, and I now have a mustache. I’m going for that evil villain/fascist look with Barry as my feline sidekick.
I actually like it more than I thought I would. The beard will return, but not for a bit.
It’s been a busy week. Lots of work and not as much sleep as I’d like. The picture above was taken last night at my Masonic Temple (at the Rear Stairwell) while I was waiting for my companions of my chapter of Royal Arch Masons to arrive.
The week’s almost over, thank god. Tonight I’m decompressing with some terrible wrestling (TNA) and a drink or two.
I realize the lighting and angle makes it difficult to see, but the little bastards have finally become friends. They’re curled up next to each other and are peacefully napping the evening away. It’s only a matter of time before they wake up and rase hell, but for now, it’s nice to see them being sweet.
Just woke up from a nap to find some napping company. As short as this work week was, I’m completely beat. At least I have tomorrow off.
Hanging out with Barry buns. He’s a bit grumpy since I accidentally woke him up from a nap. It serves him right, seeing how he’s grown accustomed to waking everyone up at 6:30 each morning.
Grumpy or not, he’s good company as I try to relax before the work week begins.
Getting ready to head out to Monday Night Raw. If you’re watching it, be on the look out for HavingHorns and me (though I think our seats aren’t that great so you’ll probably not see us).
Meanwhile, Barry, the king of dumb faces is perfecting his craft of looking adorable and goofy.
I know the lighting sucks but if you look closely on the lower right hand side, you can see my increasingly friendly companion poking his adorable little head up. Wharton’s become quite the charmer. We’re really lucky that we found him.
Sad thing is, and it’s hard to tell here, the poor little guy had the upper third of his left year clipped clean off. He had a rough life before, but I think he’s starting to like it here.
I finally got a decent picture in the ever famous Egyptian Hall of my lovely Masonic Temple. It’s been a busy week. I’ve had a meeting almost every night.
The weekend is finally here and it’s time for some drink, pizza and Pokémon as I decompress from the week’s activities.
After a long day at work, Wharton, who has grown about a thousand times more friendly, has come to help me relax.
Here’s to another work week. Let’s hope it goes by quickly and smoothly.
